This is the best time of the year to open your grill and enjoy some nicely spiced grilled chicken. Marinated, rubbed, glazed and dipped in fresh herbs and spices these recipes will take your grilled chicken experience to a whole new level:

1) Barbeque hot grilled chicken

Grillede chicken wings with cheese sauce and fresh vegetables

Ingredients:

· Barbecue sauce-4 tbsp

· Lime juice-1 tbsp

· Honey-2 tbsp

· Hot sauce-1 tbsp

· Salt-to taste

· Grounded black pepper-1 tsp

· Boneless chicken-500 g

· Vegetable oil- for grilling

Directions:

· In a bowl, mix barbecue sauce, lime juice, honey and hot sauce and sprinkle salt and pepper. Set aside some sauce for later on

· Add chicken to the bowl in which sauce was prepared and toss until chicken is coated

· Take a grilling pan and put it over medium to low heat. Now grill the chicken and add some more sauce over it

· Grill nicely from all sides

· serve

2) Lime and chili grilled chicken

Ingredients:

· boneless chicken-500g

· slice green onions-1 tbsp

· sweet chili sauce-1 tbsp

· soy sauce-1 tbsp

· lime wedges-2

· vegetable oil-for grilling

Directions

· In a bowl, add chili sauce, lime juice, and soy sauce and mix well

· Set aside ¼ cup for marination

· In a large bowl add chicken and pour in the chili sauce to marinate

· Keep the marinated chicken in the fridge for at least 2 hours or till overnight

· Now heat the grilling pan on high heat, oil it and put the marinated chicken on the grilling pan to grill.

· Grill from each side for around 10 mins or so

· Now add the leftover marinade and garnish it with spring onions.

· Serve with lemon wedges

3) Grilled chicken with pineapple salsa

Ingredients:

· Boneless chicken-500 gm

· Pineapple-chopped-1 cup

· Red onion-diced-1 cup

· Fresh coriander-chopped- ½ cup

· Extra virgin olive oil-2 tbsp

· Honey-2 tsp

· Salt- to taste

· Black pepper grounded-1 tsp

· Lemon juice-3 tbsp

Directions:

· Prepare marinade by adding lemon juice, fresh coriander, oil, honey, salt and pepper

· Add chicken to this marinade and let it sit overnight

· Take a grilling pan and heat it over the flame. Grill chicken from both sides until charred

· In another bowl, add pineapple, red onion, lime juice and fresh coriander

· Season it with salt and pepper

· Pour the salsa over chicken

· Serve

4) Grilled chicken with garlic and herbs

Ingredients:

· Chicken wings-500 gm

· Garlic cloves-6 minced

· Rosemary/ thyme/ oregano- ¼ cup

· Vegetable oil-2 tbsp

· Salt- to taste

· Black pepper- ½ tsp

Directions:

· In a bowl, add garlic, herbs, salt, pepper and whisk it all together.

· Add chicken wings to it and toss to coat

· Cover with a plastic wrap and let it sit in the fridge for 30 minutes

· Heat a grill pan over medium flame and put the chicken wings on it. Cook wings from both sides until the skin is crisp and lightly charred

· Transfer the wings to the plate and season it with salt and pepper

· Serve immediately
