1) Bruschetta


Ingredients:

  • Tomatoes chopped- 7
  • Olive oil- 1 tbsp
  • Fresh basil- handful chopped
  • Pepper- to taste
  • Salt- to taste
  • French baguette- cut into slices ½ inches thick
  • Garlic cloves- 2

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 450 deg F
  • In a bowl, combine tomatoes, olive oil, basil, salt and pepper and mix them all
  • On a large baking sheet place each slice of baguette and brush them all with olive oil
  • Now place the baking sheets in the oven and bake until breads are toasted for 5 minutes
  • Remove from oven and rub garlic over each bread
  • Now top each slice with tomato basil topping and season with salt and pepper
  • Serve

2) Feta cubes


Ingredients:

  • Feta cheese- 500 gm cut into small cubes
  • Honey-1 cup
  • Pistachios- finely chopped

Directions:

  • Cut feta cheese into cubes
  • Place a tooth pick in the centre of each fetta
  • Now dip the feta in honey with the help of the tooth pick and allow the excess to drip
  • Now in a bowl full of chopped pistachios, coat the feta with the pistachios
  • Serve

3) Beer cheddar fondue


Ingredients:

  • Cheddar cheese- shredded- 4 cups
  • All purpose flour- 1 tbsp
  • Beer- 1 cup
  • Garlic cloves- 3
  • Green mustard- 1- ½ tsp

Directions:

  • In a bowl, combine cheese and flour
  • In a small saucepan, heat beer, garlic, mustard and pepper over medium heat until bubbles form around side of the pan
  • Reduce heat to medium low
  • Now add a handful of cheese mixture and stir continuously until almost completely melted
  • Now keep adding cheese with constant stirring
  • Serve it warm with slice apples, breadsticks etc.

4) Cheese balls with honey


Ingredients:

  • All purpose flour- 1/3 cup
  • Fresh ground black pepper- ½ tsp
  • Egg- 1
  • Salt- ¾ tsp
  • Breadcrumbs- 2/3 cup
  • Goat cheese- 1 kg
  • Honey- 1 tbsp
  • Canola oil- 2 cup
  • Red pepper- dried and crushed – ¼ tsp

Directions:

  • In a bowl, combine together flour and black pepper
  • Whisk an egg, ¼ tsp of sea salt, and 2 tbsp of water in another bowl
  • In a third bowl, combine breadcrumbs and ½ tsp sea salt
  • Now make small balls of goat cheese
  • Roll each ball in flour mixture, then in egg mixture, and later in breadcrumbs mixture
  • Freeze the balls for 20 minutes
  • In a wok, heat oil and once is hot enough put each goat cheese ball carefully into the wok and fry them until they are golden brown from all sides
  • Now drizzle honey and red pepper on the cheese balls
  • Serve
