French cuisine is something that we all love. From fine, delicate crepes to decadent chocolate mousse, everything about French food is pure love. But who has time for making something like that in the kitchen? Well! we have brought together some delicious French recipes that are absolutely easy to make and can be cooked within 60 minutes:

1) French crepe with strawberries and whipped cream


· All-purpose flour-1 cup

· Milk-1 ½ cup

· Eggs-2

· Unsalted butter-2 tbsp

· Granulated sugar-1 tbsp

· Vanilla extract-1 tsp

· Oil- for cooking

· Strawberries-2 cups

· Whipped cream


· In a blender, add flour, milk, eggs, butter (melted), salt, sugar and vanilla

· Blend until the batter is smooth

· Pour the batter in a bowl and let it sit for 30 minutes at room temperature

· You may also keep the batter overnight in refrigerator

· Put a non-stick pan over medium heat and add a little amount of oil to coat the bottom of the pan

· Once the oil is hot, pour the batter with a ladle and spread it in a circular motion into an even layer

· Cook the crepe from both sides until the crepe is slightly brown

· Serve with strawberries and whipped cream

2) French Onion Soup


· Yellow or white onions-3

· Unsalted butter-3 tbsp

· Olive oil-2 tbsp

· Salt-1 tsp

· Black pepper grounded-1 tsp

· Sugar- ½ tsp

· Vegetable/ chicken broth-8 cups

· Flour-3 tbsp

· Parmesan cheese- ½ cup

· Minced onion-for dressing


· Peel and cut each onion length-wise into half-moons. Make sure the onions are cut into thin slices

· Heat a pan over low- medium flame and add butter in it

· As the butter starts to foam up add the onions and stir well to coat them in the butter

· Close the lid of the pan and let it cook for 15 minutes

· Now add salt, sugar and generously add black pepper

· Now cook the onions until they are deep brown

· Add 3 tbsp flour to the caramelized onions and stir for a minute

· In a separate pan, heat the broth and add it to the caramelized onions

· Close the lid of the pan and cook it over low heat for 1 hour

· Once the soup has thickened, remove it from the heat and add parmesan cheese

· Serve

3) Mousse Au Chocolat (French Chocolate Mousse)


· Dark chocolate (cut into small pieces)-3 cups cut into small pieces

· Unsalted butter-to grease

· Eggs-4

· Granulated sugar- ¼ cup

· Lemon juice-1/8 tsp


· Take a microwaveable bowl, add the dark chocolate pieces into the bowl and microwave it for a minute

· Stir in between to keep the chocolate from burning

· Grease a jar with butter

· In a blender, blend egg whites till they are frothy and add lemon juice

· Continue to beat eggs in the blender and add granulated sugar while continuously beating

· Beat until the eggs are stiff but not dry

· Add the egg yolks in the melted chocolate and gently stir in the egg white mixture into it and mix well until combined

· Now spoon the mixture into the greased jars, cover and refrigerate to chill

· Serve
