Summer season is on full swing and one thing that is extremely important in this weather is to keep ourselves hydrated. But along with that, if you’re trying to lose weight then it is extremely important that you don’t just drink simple water or aerated drinks but add major nutrients into your drinks. Smoothies, might look heavy but they are not fattening, especially if made with natural sweeteners. The raw fruits and vegetables combined with milk or yoghurt, or just water can fulfil all your nutritional requirement and also help you lose weight.  

1. Banana- ginger smoothie Ingredients: 

  • 1 Banana ¾ Cup Yoghurt 1 Tbsp. Honey ½ Tbsp. Grated Ginger 

Instructions:  

  • Blend all the ingredients together until they are smooth to have. 

2. Chocolate-Avocado Smoothie 
Ingredients: 

  • Avocado -1 Unsweetened Cocoa powder – 2 tbsp. Agave syrup – 2 tbsp. Frozen banana – 1 Ice – 1 cup Unsweetened almond milk – 1 cup 

Instructions:  

  • Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. 

3. Watermelon Smoothie 
Ingredients: 

  • 2 cups chopped watermelon (remove the seeds) ¼ cup fat free milk 2 cup ice 

Instructions: 

  • Combine the watermelon and milk and blend until smooth. Add ice and blend to your desired consistency. 

4.Spinach-Yoghurt smoothie 
Ingredients: 

  • Spinach leaves – 2 cups Ripe peer (chopped) – 1 Grapes – 15 Fat free Greek yoghurt – 170 g Lime juice – 1-2 tbsp 

Instructions:  

  • Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. 

5. Pineapple- Basil Smoothie 
Ingredients: 

  • Coconut milk – cup Banana – 2 Frozen pineapple chunks – 1 ½ cup Basil leaves (torn) – 2 Ginger (grated) – 1/8 tsp 

Instructions: 

  • Begin with adding coconut milk into the blender.  Then add rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth. 

6. Coconut-Carrot smoothie 
Ingredients: 

  • Coconut milk – 1 ½ cup Carrot (chopped) – ¾ cup Apple (chopped) – 1 Frozen mango chunks – ¾ cup Lemon juice – 2 tsp 

Instructions: 

  • First add coconut milk to a blender and then add carrot, apple and mango chunks. Blend them together until smooth. Add lemon juice and combine. 

7. Berry-Almond Smoothie
Ingredients: 

  • Frozen banana – 1  
    Frozen strawberries – 1 cup Frozen blueberries – 1 cup Almond butter – 2 tbsp Flaxseed – 1 tbsp Unsweetened almond milk – 2 cups 

Instructions:

  • Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
